How the Blind cook

I started my YouTube channel almost five years ago, but it really wasn’t until last year that the hubs and I began pushing out content regularly. As an answer to a question I frequently get on my YouTube, I decided the first video to be released on my channel in 2017 would show how I cook without sight.MasterChef winner Christine Ha shows how the Blind cook got quite a lot of views and shares, and I’m proud to say it’s a well-done video for an amateur two-person production crew. In the video, I cook a weeknight dinner with a GoPro on my head: steamed whole snapper with black bean sauce and Sichuan blistered green beans.Per the request of fans, I hope to do more cooking videos this year. We’re still testing out formats though—it needs to be something that still produces a quality video without requiring elaborate equipment setup and crew. We’re thinking of installing an overhead cam above the stove and counter. Instead of being a typical cooking show where I’m talking to a front-facing camera while walking you through the steps of a recipe, I’d just cook the meal as I normally would and maybe add voiceover in post-production. This way, it feels more natural and honest. What do you think? Did you enjoy the GoPro perspective in this video?Happy watching, and please subscribe and share!
