Travel to Saigon: Launching my cookbook translation, promoting my popcorn, and meeting the U.S. Consulate General

Perhaps my busiest day in Saigon was the day I had three back-to-back events to attend. In the morning, I had the launch and signing of the Vietnamese translation of my cookbook, Nau Bang Ca Trai Tim, which translates as “cook with all your heart.” (Yes, the Vietnamese publisher changed my title entirely to make it more suitable for the Vietnamese audience.) Then in the afternoon, I stopped by a university to promote my popcorn line, Uncle Jax and do a photo op with the students. Lastly, a meeting with the U.S. Consul General in the evening, followed by a talk at the American Center.Christine's cookbook launch at Tre Publishing, HCMCYes, it was a very busy but fulfilling day. I was exhausted by day’s end, but it’s cool experiences like these that make me incredibly grateful for the path my life has taken.Christine speaking at American Center, HCMCSince I’m feeling sappy, I want to also take the time to thank all of my fans and readers who have supported me throughout the years. My life is more enriched with you in it. xoxoChristine, John & U.S. Consul General Rena Bitter, HCMC
