Travel from Houston to Ho Chi Minh City in Japan Airline’s business class

In December, the hubs and I flew to Vietnam to work on a marketing campaign for the gourmet American-style popcorn, Uncle Jax. We got to fly Japan Airlines business class—it’s always a major bonus to fly business. The food is better, and you often get a three to five course meal service. (Five courses, in classic French tradition, consist of appetizer, salad, main, cheese, and dessert.) Plus there’s all-you-can-drink alcoholic beverages, of which I used to take advantage until I became a seasoned traveler and began to value rest over free-flowing wine. The service in B-class is also impeccable: the cabin attendants clean and “reset” the lavatory after every use. On some airlines (namely Singapore Airlines), they even make your bed for you, though I find this a bit much. But the absolute best, most invaluable part of business class? The seats.Nothing beats being able to lie down flat. It takes loads off your booty, and you can sleep much better knowing you’re not rubbing elbows with passengers right beside you.Access to international airport lounges is quite nice, too. It’s quieter, and there’s wifi and a selection of complimentary hot and cold foods and beverages.I admit it, I’m completely spoiled with business class. If you ever get a chance to fly it internationally, I highly recommend it.Have you flown b-class? Which airline do you think has the best business class amenities and service?
